Porscha Stewart, the newly added housewife to the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast, was shown having problems in her marriage, when she faced many obstacles trying to conceive. Her husband, former NFL player Cordell Stewart filed for divorce without notifying his wife of two years. Porscha learned of the divorce from internet sources. After being filmed and depicted as a "obedient wife" the marriage of less than two years was obviously in turmoil. Sunday's show depicted Porscha dealing with the emotional trauma caused by a miscarriage that she had suffered from in the past. Housewives cast member NeNe Leakes tweeted in response, "I am good judge of character! I will stand by & support my little sister @PorschaDStewart.
